Gluten Free Jalebi


  • 300g Wheafree Maida Type Binder
  • 300ml Water
  • 1.5g Sodium thioSulphate (Rang kaat)
  • A pinch of Red /Orange Food color (Sun Set Yellow)
  • Oil to fry
  • To make Sugar syrup:
  • 1kg sugar
  • 200ml water

  2. Prepare one string sugar syrup by dissolving sugar in the water on flame.

To make Jalebi:

Mix Maida, Water, Sodium thiosulphate and food color and form a smooth batter of pouring consistency. Put this into a cone / plastic bag and punch a small hole at the other end. Squeeze the batter into the oil in coiled circular shape. Deep fry them until they are golden and crisp. Soak it in hot sugar syrup for 1-2 Min. Take them out of the syrup and serve hot.
